Paula Rozov

My childhood home was Colerain, NC.  Although a lovely place, growing up, I realized that my rigid upbringing and narrow scope had left little room for self exploration and personal and intellectual growth. 

Through eight years of formal drawing and painting instruction, I gained proficiency, but more, passage to my aesthetic. Through the years, the human figure was the focus of my work.  I have been fortunate to be included in private collections, juried shows, and galleries as I have moved and traveled. Back on the beautiful coast of my home state, I am deeply grateful for the peace and space in which to think, paint and allow myself some departure from past focus.
 
I am a member of NOAPS and am currently represented in the Village Gallery in Oriental, NC. In 2017 my work was juried into shows mounted by Bank of the Arts, New Bern, NC and 311 Gallery, Raleigh, NC.
