Lyne Lassen

Lyne Lassen has been working with glass since the early 80’s — starting with traditional leaded stained glass and adding warm, or fused, glass to her repertoire some 20 years later. Primarily self-taught, Lyne loves to create bright color combinations to create unique and utilitarian plates and bowls. 
 
Many pieces reflect the coastal influences of eastern North Carolina and the sailing community of Oriental.  Her style is often whimsical and playful, a direct reflection of her own personality.  She also enjoys creating Christmas holiday plates, which can be found at the Gallery during the holiday season.
 
Although Lyne focuses primarily on fused glass these days, she still enjoys traditional leaded stained glass and is always up for designing a bespoke piece for a client’s specific needs.
