Kathleen E. Bailey

Picture
Kathleen had always wanted to put what her eyes see on canvas, but only started painting and photographing while sailing with her husband on their boat, Vicarious.

They left New Bern in April 2010 and headed to Maine where Kathleen took her first 4-hour oil painting class by Maria Boord.  Kathleen and her husband then turned 180 degrees, sailing and painting along the east coast, down through the Bahamas and the Caribbean, stopping in Grenada. Turning north they sailed back up to Maine, finally landing back in New Bern.

An advocate for Mother Nature, Kathleen is inspired by nature and all the places she has and continues to explore. “I am driven to paint what I see in my mind and all around me, and my wish is to inspire others  to love this earth as much as I do.”
