Frank ElshaugFrank has been working with wood as a hobby since the 1960's, initially building furniture.
About 10 years ago he switched his interest to turning wood bowls on the lathe. He's been fortunate enough to find recently felled pecan and walnut locally, and was able to turn very large (15in plus) bowls with beautiful spalting and exotic grain patterns. He strives to keep the design simple and showcase the beautiful natural design in the wood itself. |
